Mike & I got on the water about 1:30 pm at Indian Hollow Ranch and fished until 6:30.  We had an amazing day, especially Mike.  Mike started out throwing all kinds of different things, including some Canada baits and wasn't catching anything.  He then switched to weightless flukes and started catching some fish.  I started out with baby brush hogs and Senkos and caught 5, but 2 were real dinks.  About 3:00 we both switched to 3/4 oz. Oldham spinner baits and started catching a lot of fish and better size.  Mike had a period around 4:00 were he caught 12 very nice fish in about 15 minutes along the shore straight across from the boat launching area.

Anyway we caught 78 bass in 5 hours.  Mike was really in the zone and caught four 5 pounders, one 4 1/2 and four 4 pounders all on the big spinner baits.  Mike weighted all the bigger fish with a boga scale so pretty sure about actual weights.  When I started with the big spinner bait mine were between 1 1/2 up to 4 pounds.  A lot were 2 - 3 pounds.  I only caught one 4 pounder.
