Fingerling
My son and I went out this morning from 6a - 12p.
We caught roughly 25+ fish between the two of us with 8 of those below the minimum and harvested. Biggest was 6 lbs and we caught several between 3 & 5.
Top water was slow to nonexistent but luckily I read the fishing reports for the lake back to about two years. Everyone was spot on, we caught them on cranks, plastics, spinners.
The only advice that I did not take was to line all my reels with braid and boy did I wish I did. We both got hung up every other cast it seemed and probably 10+ fish tangled us up in the timber, resulting in a break off. This Timber lake fishes much tougher than the other lakes with timber, bring your braid folks.
Water clarity was about 8-10”, winds around 7-10 mph. It was about 77 degrees early am, and 94 at noon.
All in all, another great outing with my son. Great property!

Great pictures. Love the smiles.
Pleasantly surprised water clarity was only 10". Ideally, we like it 15" to 24". Any clearer and we fight aquatic vegetation. Normally this time of year it is 3 to 5 feet clear.
