Three of us fished Timber today (6/15). On the water by @ 8:00 and took a break around noon for burgers in Sulphur Bluff then back at it till @ 5:00. Water was remarkably clear (@ 1 1/2 ft.) after all the rain.  Nice breeze and occasional clouds. While the bite wasn't electric we caught fish. Chatter baits, plastics, and an occasional crank bait did the trick. Amazingly, most of the fish (30 or more between us) were in the 3 to 4.5 lb.range with a few really nice ones. Very few "dinks" which were harvested. All our fish came from the timber at @ 5-9 ft depths. Fighters….. really fun and just a good time on the water.
