My wife and I enjoyed a nice morning at Ferris Triple J. As others have reported, there's a lot of aquatic vegetation in the lake, particularly in shallow areas, but it was very fishable. It was cloudy and windy so it was great for topwaters. My wife caught 3 before I got one in the boat!

Altogether we caught about 12 bass in 3 hours of fishing. We probably lost that many in the moss. Lots of fun bringing in those "moss fish." We'd set the hook, see a splash and bring in a big wad of moss - "Is there a bass still in there or not?" LOL 

Sizes ranged from 10-12 inches up to a four pounder. Largest fish were caught on unweighted Super Flukes and Senkos. All were very healthy and scrappy - fun to catch. It's so close to Dallas that I'm sure we will be going there again.
