My first trip as a PWF member was a good one! I’ve fished as a guest with my son, Chad, a few times and realized if you enjoy bass fishing - PWF is well worth it! We fished Timber Lake on May 22nd - on the water a little before 7:00 am. From then until 5:00 pm the action was steady. It was mostly cloudy all day with water temps ranging from 74 - 79 degrees. We boated 71 bass with 23 culls. The largest we weighed was 4-3/4 lbs. and many more were in the 3-1/2.- 4-1/4 lb. range. Pound for pound these were some of strongest, hardest fighting bass I’ve seen anywhere!! The majority of fish were caught on chartreuse spinner baits or weightless swim senkos, watermelon with red/green flakes. The lake is aptly named and with so much timber around it really tests your skills!

What a trip Chris! 71 bass to 4 and 3/4 pounds sounds like the Timber Lake I remember. Glad you whacked 'em.
