After fishing BlackJack on May 10th, I dropped my kayak at Post Oak that evening (thanks PWF for checking with the owner) and spent the night in Bryan.  Woke-up to rain, thunder and lightning and decided I should cancel. I was a little upset with the Weather channel as they indicated no storms until late afternoon.  After I ate breakfast and was loading my car, the weather had cleared and it was a nice 65 degrees.  I called PWF and left a message asking to uncancel my cancelation.  Later that morning, Keri called and let me know that was no problem - THANKS.

I started around 8 and left about 1.

Air temps: 65-85

Water temps: 73-75

Winds : 10-15 MPH

Water: stained and full

Top water bite was on, but we missed more than we caught. I caught 12 with only 2 dinks (previous culling efforts have paid-off). Even caught a crappie - good size.

I had success fishing the outside grass line along the entire property. My main lures were a rattle trap (sexy shad) and a medium diving crank (green, read, black) fished fast and with an erratic retrieve. Also any isolated timber was productive. I caught a 5# on the crank bait on the isolated timber on the dam side opposite from the dock.  Just like at BlackJack the day before, the bite died after lunch.
