April 27th.  Squall line passed through early in the morning but there wasn't a cloud in the sky or any wind by the time I arrived at 1PM.  The water was a little muddy, but the lack of any wind seemed to be the biggest factor in a slow bite.  I fished from the bank and only caught 2 on crankbaits before 4:45 PM.  I caught 3 more punching in the thickest weeds and jumped and lost two sizable bass before I switched to braid.  I ended up the day catching three more plus a breakoff on a buzzbait.  The wind never did appear and I got some nice reflection photos of the still water. All bass were between 16 and 19 inches, and none harvested.  Watch out for snakes, I saw several.
