NGot to the property around noon on the 24th. The wind was howling out of the south. I checked the weather bureau this morning and gusts were 28 mph. So we started at the gate pond and we were shutout. Moved to Beaver pond partner caught one a ribbit. Moved to the spillway from upper JerMar to lower JerMar and had some blowups but no fish. Then we started walking down the road throwing our frogs and picking up one here and there but all nice 16 to 17 inches. Dr. King came to look as some work he had done on spillway. We talked for a while and I sent him home with some senkos and flukes. Since we were now at the dam we loaded the v hull and took off to the east side. Throwing those ribbits in every color but white. It was an interesting top water bite as you would hit a pocket with maybe get. 4 or 5 fish. Got to the spillway and caught two nice ones on black buzz bait with a clacker. Started down the west side and same pattern. We were throwing right into the reeds. Smallest fish of the day was15 inches. Caught 3 at 21 inches and the rest between 16 and 19 inches. All the fish fat and healthy. Probably ended the afternoon with 20 to 30 bass. I put a new anchor rope on the anchor. The anchor held the boat
Oh won't you buy me some more Ribbit frogs
The colors don't matter as long as they are free
I'm waiting for delivery as I watch TV
Oh give me some of those EWG's that I've seen on TV

Love your report, Bob. Looks like you had a good fun day. I seem to always struggle with the wind there too. Blows hard out of the south. Thanks for the tips on bank fishing. I'll have to try that next time.
