First time to fish at the Six O Ranch property, what an awesome place to be outdoors. Our half day started at noon with overcast sky, light NE winds and great water conditions. We were ready to catch fish and we did. 31 bass went into the cooler and 19 over the slot were returned. Another 15 plus are still swimming since they shook off the hook as they nose dived into the grass. A green pumpkin magic Senko from Bass Pro did the number on them. I threw a spinnerbait, crankbait, rattletrap and a Texas rigged ring rascal and caught one one each. Daughter Holly stuck with the Senko and kept catching while I fished, she never switched baits. The fish were up against the small willows growing all over the lake. We caught just 3 or 4 out from the bank. Best spot was the small cove right across from the boat dock, biggest fish 21" came from there. Good fishing at the Six O.
