Fry
The chug holes on 4411 had been filled and the creek was gently running across its 3 fiords, making for an easy crossing. A beautiful sunrise was poking through the orange and red clouds as I turned onto the ranch road to the pond. Its ruts were still there but dry. There was an early top water action on a Tiny Torpedo, then some good fish on a baby bass fluke. Later in the morning after a few sprinkles and the moon was just coming up they were hitting a Junebug Red French Fry. About a dozen or so to 3 to 4 lbs. plus a couple of large crappie. The water was a little stained but with about 2 ft visibility. The coontail and duck weed had grown some since my visit a few weeks ago.
Then they were killing a Bagley Small Fry Bream.
