The lake in in great shape and higher than I have ever seen it.The water goes way back in both arms of the lake and they are very fishable. The bottom of the shed south of the launch area is covered with water.
Fished with another member Friday afternoon.Caught a total of 41 bass of which 33 were over the 14" mark. The largest was 3 1/4 lbs.We did well with senkos, flukes and lizards. Most of the fish were related right on the grass line and open pockets of water along the shore line where you had grass, open water and grass again. We also got a few on frogs exploding out of the grass.
Everything we caught were back in the two arms.
Fishing out of kayaks my partner got hung up on a tree stump and he was finally able to got off.Later I got hung up and the stump grabbed one of my scupper holes.I was unable to power myself off so I had my friend take my anchor rope and tied it to a near by tree and I was able to pull myself off.I had already transferred my rods to his kayak and was ready to jump in the lake to dislodge the kayak and swim it to shore.I have been stuck before but this is the first time I was unable to get off without help.
