I took my grandson here for his Birthday on Saturday morning. we didnt get close to the numbers the folks did the day before,  however we had a great day of fun we both caught 2 each  at least 3 pounder's within 20 minutes of getting setteled in around 8:30 . all of those were on topwaters. it was quiet for the next few hours. We decided to go small and threw ultra lites for a while and only pulled one 10 inch bass .... took it back to pond at his house.. Still Love Julian Lake.
