Buddy and I fished Kickapoo in the afternoon of the 15th. Weatherman said 10 to 20 wind…. so we got 25 and a little gust at times. The lake doesn't have big open water so we felt fine, but presenting a bait was a challenge. Water temp right at 70 and @ 2ft. visibility. Fish were scattered with no discernable pattern and we caught fish at different depths with many different baits. Hooked into well over 30+ and harvested 27 plus a monster crappie. Like I said "windy but fun"...... something tugging on the line.
