With the wind calm, from the gate I could see how much the coontail had grown since 2 weeks ago, from the dam to the Texas pool. The water had cleared and was gently flowing over the spillway.  A few hundred ducks had moved in. Pond scum and algae had developed with the smaller males now guarding the nests that had been fanned in it.  Fat Alberts and weightless zoom worms had produced on my first visit to 4 lbs. while the largest today hammered a Madman brown/orange crawfish.
