I took my son in law to Beaver lake Saturday afternoon and Sunday.  It was his first time bass fishing so I thought I would initiate him on one of the best and most physically challenging lakes to fish.     He rose to the occasion by catching several nice fish including one weighing 5 pounds 10 ounces.  We caught 30 fish; only 3 of which were dinks. Most were 2 to 3 pounds with our largest two weighing in at 4.6 and 5.10. The lakes at 10 10 are all full.  Water quality is excellent and all but one of the fish were fat and healthy.  Tommy and Craig are wonderful hosts.  The boats and motors are always in excellent condition.  For those of you wanting to stay out there, the trailer and house are excellent and always our first choice. If they are booked, a really nice fall-back is the Three Oaks bed and breakfast in Marshall.  It is in a really cool historical site building,.  Wonder big bedrooms and the owners cook up a mean breakfast.
