Fished chimney rock on the 31st. Air temperature was low sixties and water temperature was 55 degrees. Lake is full and good water clarity. Wind was 12 to 15 mph. Caught a fish about every 20 minutes primarily on a black six inch lizard. Biggest was about 3 pounds. I played around with a new hummingbird helix 5 with down and side imaging.  Very little structure in the lake except a few old flooded trees. Caught fish there. Got up to almost 89 degrees!  80 degrees

Steve. Thanks for the report. I have not fished there for several years without much luck due to drought. Good to see it coming back.

Your welcome. Not too far from home. Look forward to fishing some of the east Texas lakes this year. Have a great year
