My day in the sun. Fished here PM 1/15/16. Perfect day. Bank fished. Weather Blue sky, Probably mid 70s. Warm all week in advance of  today. No Wind. Water smooth like glass. Running over at the spillway. Lake is completely full. Up in the grass . Water not clear but looks good. Fished east and west side.  I knew what was about to happen . Got lots of hits and pulls. Day total, Caught 21. 13 were small and healthy 10 to 12 inches or so. The grab and run type. Caught 2 that would be between 4 and 5 pounds. One about 3 pounds.  The remaining 5 between 1 and 2 pounds. Really nice fish, nice day. What can i say, Private Water Fishing.

Roy,

Not too far from La Grange and was thinking about fishing there. Sounds like a fun winter outing. What were you catching them on?

Sorry I forgot to post that . I almost always use Zoom Finesse Plus 6" worms (004-004) on a 5.0 hook. I did use a top water frog at dusk for about 45 minutes. I did not catch any on the frog.
