Fished Blackjack on January 11 from 8:30 until around 4:30 with a break for lunch.  Conditions:

Water level: about 6 inches below the pier

Clarity: stained and 6 inches

Water temp:  45- 51

Air temp: 35 - 51

sky: clear to partly cloudy

Winds: Calm to 5

Missed three on senkos and shallow jerk baits, but did not boat anything.  All three were shallow relating to isloated stick-ups.  I tried everything to get a hook-up (all depths of cranks, jerks, rattle traps, senkos, Tx worms, paddle tails, wacky senkos).  I did see multiple fish suspending at 10 ft in 20 ft of water about 20 ft from the dam, but could not entice them to bite.  Cold front came through the day before so that probably caused the lock-jaw.
