Took son out on Ferris_Triple J on Tuesday afternoon.  Wind really beat us to death.  Couldn't even hold the boat with an anchor.  Wind was probably 16 gusting to 20.  So we spent some time walking the bank - I think the problem with that is that the water level was so high that the water is only a foot deep several yards from shore on many areas of the lake.  Caught 3 or 4 dinks and finally a solid, 2.75 lb fighter on a swim jig with Paca chunk trailer near sundown.  Still enjoyed a colorful sunset and fishing in December with short sleeves on.  We will keep plugging away!
