Son and I fished from about 3:20 to 6:00 PM on Sunday evening 8_Nov to Six O.  Landed 1 dink, that's it.  Probably mostly due to my ineptitude - only brought paddles and anchor, so the heavier fiberglass boat was a little too much to maneuver and we also spent a good bit of our time getting each other out of the considerable hang-ups on the E/NE end of the lake.  Would have expected to at least luck into a few more, but also was the only really sunny day in the last several, so maybe they had a bit of lockjaw.  Threw a variety of baits and techniques.  Beautiful property, beautiful sunset – good time with my son.  We’ll have a more productive report next time!

Mark, sorry to here that the fishing was slow.   That boat had to be a job itself without a trolling motor. You were there at prime time.  I can remember one member years ago having to pull his boat all the way around breezy hill lake.  Through the mud and lily pads and cat nine tails.  I would have sunk the boat and found high ground.  I carry two trolling motors and two batteries as I'm too old for any portaging.  I was throwing a watermelon seed zoom super fluke 5". Weightless.  That way I never got hung up in the weeds.  Next time ya'll are going stop by my house and I'll let you use my batteries and trolling motors.  Just give me a day to get them charged. I'll even throw in a package of super flukes.  If going back to Six O do it before any real cold weather sets in.  I can show you some of the productive areas, but I think entire shore line is good.

Bob, that is an incredibly gracious offer.  Thank you for the encouragement and the great advice.  I will definitely give Six O another shot soon!
