Hit the water at daylight on Saturday armed to the teeth with every size and color rattletrap you can imagine. Started casting towards the lily pads and…nothing. Worked my way around the lake and 90 minutes into fishing with zero hits. Switched to an assortment of crank baits and still nothing. Out of desperation I tied on a white popper and started working the shoreline. I started catching one after another and landed over 30 by the time I pulled the boat out of the water at 11:15. Biggest fish was 17" and all fought hard and looked healthy.
