Was here pm today 10/4/15. Beautiful day mid 80's. Lake is full but not running over. Water is way back in the creeks. Caught 7 probably between 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 lbs all on plum 6 inch worms. Very healthy hard fighting fish. Lost several pulling the worm off the hook. Several hit as i was lifting the worm out of the water. Watch for snakes if you are bank fishing especially back in the creek areas. Ran across one but it wanted to get away fast. And it did. Roy Cotton

3 years ago we had a fish kill at this lake and lost many of the larger bass. Today the lake has rebounded. It is not back to where it was before the fish kill, but its in a lot better shape than it was a few years ago.
