Another member and myself fished Hat & Star Tues afternoon and Wed morning. This was our first time to fish this lake and it is very impressive.The total catch was 57 bass and a dozen bream. The largest bass landed was 5.8 lbs and what looked like a 6.5 lb bass jumped and threw the hook.Of the total 7 bass were over the 16" and the rest were under and removed.

The largest bass and some other nice fish were on green wacky.The smaller fish were on tx rig red bud worm,black blue tail and watermelon seed worms.Only one fish on a crank bait.

The smaller bass were working the grass early and late.Some very nice bream were caught with a fly rod but no bass.
