Fished Medina on September 7th from 7-noon. The water temp was 80, clear sky, and water clarity was about 3 ft. 

There was no top water action and I was seeing multiple bass suspending by the dam. Tried everything (cranks, jigs, senkos, traps) and only got a couple of bites. Probably stayed with this pattern too long. Around 10 decided to use a sexy shad rattle trap and caught 10 in the final two hours. All were in 4-8 ft near the bank and fought well. Only two dinks. Almost had my second double, but one came off next to my kayak. 

It appears the owners have retrieved the Jon boat as it was on the bank when I launched. 

Hopefully one more trip here before it closes for hunting.
