My dad and I fished JerMar this morning and caught 20 bass. We were on the lake at first light and caught half of our fish in the first 45 minutes on top water baits. The rest of the morning was hit and miss- literally. My dad missed probably 15 fish as he fished a big Rapala top water bait all day. I think the fish were attacking it more than trying to eat it.
The rest of the fish were scattered on lizards, brush hogs, and spinners. There were 4 that went around 2.25 and the rest were smaller. We harvested 5 fish. Most of the fish came off of the wooded side of the lake.  The fish were healthy and put up a good fight.
The next member that goes out should take some ant spray as the aluminum boat is infested and they are digging all of the styrofoam out.
