Was really looking forward to fishing the North lake as I figured the rains would have filled it back up.  It was lower than it was a year ago.  I struggled getting the kayak launched and fished it for a couple hours until I called it quits.  Moved over to the other lake and worked the shoreline with frogs.  Caught several 3-5 lb. fish working the edges, but nothing in the middle of the lake.  It got hot, and I had to pick up the kiddo at camp so I quit mid-afternoon.

Michael,

Thanks for the update. I spoke with the owner today. Please find an update about the lake. We have added this to the web-site.

July 2015 update: The East Lake, which is the first lake you come to as you drive down the hill had a leak around the pipe in the dam. The repair should be complete by the end of July and then we wait for rain. Currently the lake is approx 5 to 8 acres. Still fish-able, but nothing like before. West Lake is fish-able, and reports remain strong, but has more vegetation than normal years.

East lake has had its share of mishaps, fish kill few years ago (i think) and now down to 5- 8 acres.. WOW, that is low, to bad for the owner , hes a very nice man.. but i know this lake will come back strong.. i fished this property occasionally when Steve first obtained it, and it was one of my favorites, i will be keeping eye on reports of its progress,,, i assume west lake is still as good as always
