The morning fishing on Saturday the 27th was as good as it gets. The front/weather change in the afternoon shut down the activity. Two of us boated 30 bass in the am that averaged 4+ lbs…largest 4.12…mostly all on topwater….ribbitt frogs, scum frogs, jerk frogs, buzzbaits, silver torpedos. We had another 15-20 hard strikes and lost them in the weeds. Every bass was a big one…nothing under 3 lbs. The bass literally came out of the water when they hit. We had 5-7 that hit within 3 feet of the boat…big explosions. The afternoon was a different story….really slow but managed another 10…wacky worms/swim baits with spinners/lizards and Lake Fork ring fry worms. The lake is the best that I've seen it….100% full, not near the weed problem, and action all over the lake. Great day and going back soon.

Now, that is a solid June day of fishing. June maybe my favorite month of the year to fish and I think I made it out only once. Ugh!
