Fingerling
Matt and I fished the morning at Triple J, from about 7 AM to noon. The weather threatened all day, and we did get wet, but no lightning came close so we toughed it out. Almost all of the fish we caught were close to the bank, between the weed beds and the bank, in the open strip of water. We caught about 20, including several dinks up to 3.5 lbs, good healthy fish. The lake is heavy in weeds, which made fishing difficult in the wind. All fish caught on soft plastics, Texas rigged either weightless or with 1/8 oz. No bites on poppers, frogs, or a Mann's Baby Minus 1. Good results, considering all the odds against us.
