My wife and I were in Athens for a Sunday appointment and we managed to squeeze in a quick stop at NE Lake. This lake is typically about numbers for me, but this trip was different. I caught a nice 4 - 5 pounder right off the bat, and then a few smaller fish to follow. Julie was struggling a bit in the wind, so I worked the boat into some better spots on the lake and she found her stride. She landed a few small ones that were harvested, and then she added a nice kicker to the 2 hour outing. The fish was 20.5 inches long and had yet to spawn (she was about ready to burst!).

Love being able to stop and fish for a few hours on such a nice property. Thanks PWF!
