Fished with fellow member Dr. Todd all day Sunday. Cloudy, very chilly and slow morning. We caught about 5 between 6:30 and 11. All of these were over 15” and caught on soft baits.The afternoon warmed and our luck heated up as well. We landed 25 bass on mostly fat, black 8” Zoom worms. 2 weighed 3.5 lbs each. Awesome afternoon after an iffy morning.

In the Spring I much prefer afternoons over mornings. When the water temps dip into the low 60's in the early morning and then warm up to 70+ by mid afternoon it usually spells success.
