Grandson Jackson and I ignored the weather man and launched with an overcast cloudy day and light winds. Perfect conditions and within 5 minutes we boated the first fish of the afternoon. Yum 4 and 5 inch Dingers did the job all afternoon long, even a couple of crappie ate em up. Jackson caught his personal best landing a nice 5 + pounder that put a smile on his face. We circled the lake a couple of times and did our best on the east bank where the lay down trees are covered in good water. The sun came out at 4:30 and the fun slowed down but we made the best of the clouds ending the day with 27 bass and 2 crappie. A Super fishing day at JJJ.
