My wife and I were on the water by daylight with a slight drizzle. For the first 2 hours fishing was fair. I caught 4 - 2.5lb to 3.5 lbs on purple wacky worms. After that the rain began to come down fairly hard but we hung in there and kept fishing. We started fishing with top water and caught several good ones until the bite completely shut down. We threw just about everything in our tackle boxes and nothing would work. The wind got strong and we caught a few more. We caught 12 from 2.5 lbs to 4 lbs. Even with the bad weather we had a great time. We have fished this lake several times so we know what a person can really catch when the bite is on. We love this lake and will be going back many more times. Thanks Six O !!
