My wife, son and I spent a great Good Friday and Saturday morning at Post Oak.  Since my wife and son don't fish, I had to take care of the fishing on my own.  The fish were really hitting chase baits.  Solid fish mostly 2-5 pounds all gave a good account of themselves.  I caught 77 total in about 10 hours of fishing (I think I only caught 5 or 6 under 2 pounds). The fish hit Zara Spooks very solidly Saturday morning and hit swimbaits and chatterbaits the rest of the time.  The lake is very weedy now so getting the lure back without entanglement is pretty hard to do.  If you can you are usually rewarded with a bass as the lure breaks free of resisting vegetation.

The lake looked muddier than the last time I was there.  I couldn't tell if it was from recent rains or from the many carp that can be easily observed finning in the shallows.

I fished in my 10 foot Pelican.  This is an easy lake to fish by bank, however.
