Member John Bedore and I had a chance to fish Waco Creek ranch in San Saba on  March 18/19th.   We fished for  1 1/2 days and were able to boat 83 fish.  Of that total we culled 17 bass and 5 very large crappie.  It rained all day saturday and their was no wind to speak of.  Most of the bites came on wacky rigged worms and top water stick baits.  The lake was in fine condition and despite recent rains the water color was mostly clear with a little murky water at the creek mouths.   This is a great place to spend some time with a good friend!
