Fished all day on Thursday with my dad. Weather was warm and overcast with light winds. Water temp was 64. Lake level is still down it is at the edge of the boat ramp. That being said there is still plenty of lake to be fished. The bass were not hitting to well. Caught five mostly dinks, but my biggest went right at three pounds. The catfish were on fire!!! Between my dad and I we landed 22 all were in the 2 to 4 range. The biggest was almost 7. Charlie cheese bait was the ticket. Had a blast with that. Landed 8 nice crappie on white/ chartreuse jigs. They were holding tight in the brush piles. I’m was surprised that the lake was not any fuller due to all of the rain that the area has had. Another great day on club waters!!!

I'm glad the catfish were biting. Thanks for the report.

Hey Greg, taking my son to Pecan Springs next week.  Would be nice to have a back up plan…

Where on the lake did you catch the cats & crappie?

Thanks!

The catfish bite was every where. The crappie were holding in the brush piles. However that being said all of this was before the rains came.
