My wife Laura and myself fished Sunday the 18th from around noon till 3:30 pm. It was a great day to be out. She is learning to fish and is using spinning gear. She also learned how to drive the boat with the trolling motor. We ended up getting 6 bites and we both landed a fish. Mine was 2 1/2# and hers was a beautiful 4 1/2 #. She hooked it on a senko and lipped it into the boat by herself. The water is extremely high, the pier is under water by about 18". It has about a foot visibility due to the rains but it really looks good. The bushes that were 4' from the water up the bank are now 5' away from the bank in the water. This spring should be great with all the new water. On the way to lake all the ponds I saw were out of their banks.
i am attaching picture of pier and my wife's fish, she is very proud of It.
