This ws the first time to pass East Lake and head to West.  Started on the water a little after noon with light winds and partial cloud cover.  Surface water tmp about 60. I wish I could keep my pool water as clear as this without all the time and expense I put into it. Could see the bottom (or top of moss) at 4-5 feet Had six or seven before 2 with largest at 22" and fat.  Sun broke out and the wind picked up.  Got a couple of scattered fish untill about 5 when the sun got low.  Changed from the earlier productive swim bait rigged on jih head with spinner to top water and the bite was on on.  In next 45 minuttes landed 9-10 more from  14"" to 16".  Had hoped for some crappie while bass bite was off but they must all be in East Lake. I did see some brim around dock and by launch but other than that no bait fish at all.
