Fished Timber Lake with my dad for the last day of the season.  Caught 14 with several nice fish up to 5 lbs in a lake that looks to be almost 5 feet low.  Creeks are now shallow.  We caught several fish that looked very thin and stunted.  The 5 was the most exaggerated and felt like pulling up dead weight. In all we caught 8 over 3 lbs plus 4 cull fish.  The property is BEAUTIFUL and saw a small group of hogs on the east bank of the western creek.  One looked to be over 300 lbs!  We met Amy on our way out.  I had met her dad on my first trip to Timber years ago and it was great to meet this delightful and wonderful landowner and hear some stories about her family's time there.  I have fished the final day at Timber for several years now and always love that day, looking forward to the return of spring and the end of the Timber Lake winter closing!  Until February. . .I'll be counting the days.

I'm glad the club holds some traditions for you! Amy is pssionate about her property and her lake. We are very fortunate to have the opportunity to spend our days on this great property.
