Started early with an amazing sunrise. Caught 3 on top waters in first 30 minutes then it got tougher after that. Fish never broke the surface except to hit our frogs and buzz baits. Wind is the perennial issue here. It blows straight down the lake. Only protection is near the dam.

Water was clear, lots of moss as usual, lake nearly full, partly cloudy and warm. 

Caught 6 in the main lake. All 2-3 pounds. All very chunky and healthy. Scrappy fighters!

For our last hour there(11-12) we fished Beaver Pond. I caught 5 fairly quickly. We looked at Upper JerMar Lake but little or no access to the water's edge. 

Saw the new cabin but didn't (couldn't) go in. Looks good. 

In general, the lakes and property looks great - better every time I go (4-5 trips there in 2 years). Thank you, Dr. King!
