I fished the East lake for the first time today. Got on the water around 1:30. Caught one dink right away then nothing for about 4 for hours. I kept asking myself why I continue to come out to Twin Lakes despite never catching much. I guess it's b/c it 's so pretty and every cast looks like you could catch something. Anyway, I caught a few more dinks then right as I was wrapping up the day at about 7:30 I caught a 4 pounder and then about fifiteen minutes later, I caught a 3 pounder. Next time I'll just go for about 45 minutes. All fish were caught on sluggos.

And I don't know if this should be listed under the hazards section or not; there is at least one 3ft gator in the East lake.

Jason, my last couple of trips out to Twin have produced good fish on blue fleck Powerworms in 10-15 ft of water near hydrilla and drop offs.

This was on the East lake, but I'm sure the pattern would work on both.

Fish the outside edge of the hydrilla near deep water. And again, this was several weeks ago during hotter weather, but the pattern should be holding. It's a typical summer deal.

I was able to do the same when there last month and really did not matter much on type of bait.  Plus try a roadrunner type jig around the moss edges and you will probably pick up some really nice crappie and bass will anil it as well.
