Continuing on my Dallas trek, I had a chance to fish for a few hours at Twin Lakes.  I fished from the bank and was trying to force feed topwaters to the resident bass.  I managed to catch 15 in a short period of fishing mostly on floating frogs and pop-r's.  All the fish were healthy and noticably dark colored.  Mostly 2-4 lbs.

I did get to meet the ranch owner and had a good visit about a wide ranging varierty of subjects from ranching and life in the navy to fishing and the state of affairs in Texas.  He is a most pleasant gentleman!
