Fingerling
Between the light rain and the cool front, it was an ideal morning for late July. I fished Timber Lake on July 30 am. and caught 10 bass, all but two in the 3 - 31/2 lb. range. The front may have slowed the bite a little, but in addition to those caught, I lost at least five or six that wrapped me up in the timber. Overall, the action was pretty steady. When I got ready to clean the two that were under-sized, there were parts of two crawfish in the bottom of my livewell. Both bass had been feeding on orange and brown crawdaddys. Might influence lure selection next trip.

Way to go, Larry. Sorry about the wrap-ups, but that's all part of timber fishing. I had the samething happen to me today.
