Member Mike Svoboda and I fished Timber Lake Sunday afternoon.  It was very hot and sunny, but a light breeze and drinking a lot of liquids made it bearable.  We caught 37 fish between the two of us, of which 4 were harvested.  The quality of the fish was great, with 11 of them 19” or longer.  The two biggest were 21 1/2” and 23 1/2”.  They were all caught on deep diving crank baits and dark color Senkos.  The main lake around the outside edge of the timber and grass was where we caught the majority of our fish, but did get a few back in the timber on the east side of the lake.  This lake continues to be one of our favorite places to fish.
