The weather had been cool all week and the temperatures on late Friday were downright springlike.  I slipped away for about 2 1/2 hours late Friday to see if the topwater bite might be on at Rock Chimney.  No such luck.  I managed to catch only 2 fish  4 1/2 and a 2 1/2.  Those were the only two fish I saw moving at all.  The water was very opaque from recent rains. 

I talked to the landowners who let me know that it has rained about 1 1/2 inches in the past three days.
