Saw that the lake level was up so went back to check out this property. Had two kids with me that fished for catfish while I pursued bass. Fished from 5:30pm until dark. Nothing! Caught one Crappie just jigging in the middle of the lake.
The lake seems like it needs to rejuvenate after being down for so long. The water was cloudy and there is no aquatic vegetation.
I fished a lipless crankbait, senko worm, weedless frog, tiny rattletrap, buzzbait, hedon torpedo, and a crappie jig.
Lake level is great, ramp is great, buster boat looks great. The ranch owner has fish feeders working as well. I like this lake and hope it can be a good producer!
