Two of us fished the AM of July 4th.  On the water at 6:30 and off approx 11:30.  Tank is full and water was going in the pipe by the dam.  Weeds are getting very thick in most of the lake making anything but weedless and topwater out of the question.  We caught about 14 bass during the morning.  Nothing huge, but nothing under the haverst size either.  Fish were very healthy looking.  Caught on frogs, buzz, flukes, spinners.  No pattern exactly, catch a few, change baits and catch a few more.  Good day for July bass fishing.

Water was 83 degrees - visibilty was fine - good algae bloom color green.
