I’ve found the crappie, as Rodney said, in small schools scattered around the lakes.
Fish 1/16 ounce tube or curly jigs on light line, casting - allowing to sink - and retrieving slowly.
He’s right about the crankbaits too. Small 1/5 or 1/4 oz cranks in minnow or shad patterns will help you locate the schools.
Best of luck to you.

This was my first trip to Twin Lakes so only have fished East Lake. I was casting small jigs and would hit on the fall or with a slow retrieve over the top of mass in 8-12 feet. Caught a couple on square bill crank bait. The bite on jig was pretty light and almost more the feel of resistance on the rod. I found schools in 4-5 places but I have feeling they might be all over the lake.
