Made first trip to Twin Lakes.  Stayed on East Lake with intent to get some of the crappie I have read about in reports.  First three casts with roadrunner resulted in in two breakoffs by bass on old 4 lb test line.  fished from 1-6 and boated a total of 18 bass.  15 from 15 to 20 inches.  At least five fish in 3-5 lb. range.  3 under 14 inches.  Finally did get into the crappie and harvested 14 really nice size.  All fish seem to be really healthy and fought larger than their size.  A great outing on what looks like a helthy fishery.  32 fish in 5 hours and lost another 10-12.  Can’t complain about these kind of days.
