I fished JerMar alone on Father’s Day morning from 6-11 am.  Like the previous report from this lake, nearly all the action was on topwater.  Not a bite on worm, lizard, frog, and only one small school bass on a crank bait, despite my throwing several in different depths and colors.  Two of the fish (pics) were very nice healthy 5 pounders.  All the others were 12-14 inches, with a couple dinks.  Water was very clear, with much grass in all the shallows.  The two large fish were caught off the dam (out of the wind), with several others caught well off shore over weed beds.  I threw a few in the Luck Pond and Beaver Pond – no bites.  I couldn’t get to the water in the small JerMar lake, the owner came by and said he a friend put a boat on this lake and caught several in the 5-6 pound range.
