My son Jack and I had an unexpected treat on Sunday, June 8th, at JerMar lake. Off to a late start, we fished from 10 AM to 2 PM, but had a really fun day with a great topwater bite right in the middle of the day after the sun came out!

We boated over 25 fish on Pop-Rs and Yellow Magic topwaters. Also caught a few on C-Rigs and wacky rigged Senkos. No big fish, but all good quality bass - 1# - 3#.

The lake is in very good shape - clear with plenty of grass. I enjoyed another day with my son in a great place outdoors!
